Craig Charles brings Funk and Soul Club to Salisbury City Hall

LEGENDARY funk and soul DJ Craig Charles will be coming to Salisbury City Hall on October 11, and we have two sets of tickets to give away!

The actor, host and BBC 6 Music broadcaster has captivated crowds throughout the UK for years, and has played at numerous festivals including Love Box, Park Life, Festival no 6, Wychwood Festival and Common People.

And now his next stop is Salisbury, where he will be bringing an assortment of funk and soul club night classic hits, as well as emerging talent, to the decks in the heart of the city.

“When BBC 6 Music asked me to do a radio show I only had one condition, it has to be a funk and soul show otherwise I wasn’t interested,” Craig says.

“I have been interested in all varieties of soul and funk music without imposing any barriers, and I am just as enthusiastic about fresh new talent as I am about the classic artists from the golden age of the 60s and 70s.”

Craig will be accompanied on the night by support DJ Emma, who was recently crowned the winner of the 2018 Smirnoff Equalizing Music DJ competition, and continues to make waves in the club scene, both across the UK and mainland Europe.

For a chance of winning a pair of tickets to the night of funk and soul, readers must answer the following question:

In which soap opera did Craig play the character Lloyd Mullaney?
