SALT LAKE CITY — The Jazz announced their preseason roster Friday, which includes 20 players in all. Beside the seven returning names, there are a baker’s dozen of new people that will don the Jazz note uniform during the three-week exhibition term. The new faces include Mike Conley, Bojan Bogdanovic, Jeff Green, Emmanual Mudiay and Nigel Williams-Goss, among others. Familiar faces include Donovan Mitchell, Rudy Gobert, Joe Ingles, Dante Exum, Royce O’Neale, George Niang and Tony Bradley.

The Jazz will play a schedule of five preseason contests beginning with a home matchup on Oct. 5 against the Adelaide 36ers of Australia’s National Basketball League. They head out on the road to play the Bucks in Milwaukee on Oct. 9, then face the Pelicans in New Orleans on Oct. 11 before coming back to Utah to face the Sacramento Kings on Oct. 14, before closing out the preseason at home versus the Portland Trail Blazers on Oct. 16.

The regular season tips off Oct. 23 against the Oklahoma City Thunder at Vivint Arena.
