Tampa rock favorite DieAlps! releases new album at American Legion next week – Creative Loafing Tampa

Connie and Frank saw three members leave their band in the months after the release of its BOTB-winning 2017 album, Our City, but the couple soldiered on and emerged with their most confessional songs ever, and on February 15, the band finally shares those songs at the release show for DieAlps!’s 13-track LP, More Important Things.

The gig—set for Feb. 13 at Seminole Heights’ American Legion—features opening sets from Orlando’s Expert Timing and Tampa’s own Expert Timing.

The album, out on New Granada Records, also features cameos from Rainer Maria’s Kaia Fischer, who contributed lap steel to three tracks: “Again And Again,” “No More Words” and “The Lesson Here.”

DieAlps! releases its new album, More Important Things, at the American Legion Seminole Post 111 in Tampa, Florida on February 13. Doors are at 8 p.m. and a suggested donation of $5-$10 will be collected.
