Natalie Depergola, J.J. Pattishall, Randy Bordon and Aron Ferrer coalesced under the umbrella of jazz, funk, hip-hop, and Afro-Caribbean music, and came out with Sugar Cane. The band seeks to explore the roots of that music and brings its new groove to St. Petersburg’s Studio@620 for this midweek treat.

Sugar Cane. Wed. Nov. 13, 7:30 p.m. $10 & up. Studio@620, St. Petersburg. thestudioat620.org
