From the Orleans Police Department:

On Saturday, between 12 noon and 6 PM., the second annual Cape Cod Roots and Blues Festival will be taking place at Nauset Beach. This promises to be a busy event, and as such parking will be an issue, and the Hubler property will fill quickly. Other than VIP parking and Handicap spaces, ALL parking will be in the upper lot. To alleviate the congestion, additional parking will take place off site at 6 additional locations.
1. Hog Island Beer Co.– West Road
2. Cape Cod Five Operations Center- West Road
3. Nauset Regional Middle School- Eldredge Park Way
4. Orleans Town Hall- School Road
5. Former Legion Hall/ Sticker Office, 139 Main St.,
6. Federated Church- Meetinghouse Road

There will be 8+ busses that will be broken into three routes, to expedite folks from the parking area to the event and back.
Any vehicle parked on private property, “Emergency No Parking” designated areas or deemed a hazard to traffic will be subject to tow. SilverCloud towing has a BRAND NEW Ford F550 tow truck and they are very anxious to use it for this event. The owner will be waxing it at Barley Neck Inn parking lot and ready to spring into action.
We will attempt to update our FB page once we are aware of parking areas filled to capacity, to assist in finding an open lot.
Traffic congestion may be heavy at or near the Beach Road/ Nauset Heights area, be allow a little extra time for travel. The area will be heavily patrolled.
