The local Beatles tribute band Rubber Soul returns after an almost two-year hiatus on Saturday, Oct. 19 at the Reel and Brand. Headed by Oscar Mooneyhan, the eight-piece ensemble will give a nod to the 55th anniversary of the Fab Four’s first visit to America.

The band plays faithful recreations of the original songs, down to the original musical key the song was recorded in. Listeners can expect all the vocals and familiar rhythms of those great songs.

The band personnel that will fill the stage at the Reel are Dave McKee on drums, Meghan McKee playing viola, Richard Neiss and Bob McBain on keys, Mark Willson and Mark Dennis playing guitar, Kat Monneyhan handling the percussion duties, and Oscar Mooneyhan strumming the guitar. Any variety of band members will sing at any point during the night.

Music starts at 9 p.m. Delightful nostalgia will ensue within moments of the opening chords.
