But recently the band enjoyed a hugely successful reunion world tour — prompting the pair to finally put their differences aside and begin work on a new record.

The three-year Not In This Lifetime run of dates took years to come to fruition but has reportedly netted Guns N’ Roses more than £400million, so it’s little wonder they’ve got the taste for recording again.

And in a new US interview, guitarist Slash has revealed the long-awaited studio project is already well under way.

Speaking to American music guru Eddie Trunk this week, the rocker explained: “We’re working on new material, which is really exciting, and so that is primarily what the focus is. Everybody has been working on it when we are in town.

“At the end of the day, everybody wants to have a full album released.

“That has not changed all that much. But there’s a different way of putting stuff out initially nowadays.

“There has always been the single, but now you look at that preliminary release a little differently.

“All things considered, it’s like the Wild West out there — there is no formula for any of it. I haven’t seen any sort of routine that works. You can do one of a million things, but I think that we will ultimately release a full album.”

But Slash shot down recent reports they would provide the soundtrack for upcoming Arnold Schwarzenegger movie Terminator: Dark Fate.

The band’s debut Appetite For Destruction remains one of the best-selling rock records of all time, shifting more than 30million copies and spawning hits including Sweet Child O’ Mine and Paradise City. They enjoyed hugely successful sequels, but later follow-ups failed to recreate the magic as hard living and infighting began to tear the band apart.

Their most recent album, Chinese Democracy, was released in 2008 — a decade late.

Here’s hoping their new music is worth the wait.

Kim takes the P

KIM Kardashian may have just come up with the perfect item of clothing for women who love a night out on the lash – but the idea may need a bit of work.

Having just released her Skims clothing range, the reality star says she’s looking into putting “pee holes” into future outfits.

But after trying to use one herself at an awards do, she can vouch that they don’t always work.

Speaking on US telly, she said: “I just launched Skims and I’ve been debating if I need a pee hole in certain things.

“Under a dress to like, the Emmys or whatever, I would try to use the pee hole and then you pee all over yourself. It doesn’t work half the time anyway.”

Her novel approach to clothing is paying off though, as she and husband Kanye West have just splashed out £11.3million on a huge new home in Wyoming.

The reality star admitted, however, that pee holes don't always work as intended

She told US TV host Jimmy Fallon: “We’ve had this dream of getting a ranch and just spending our summers there and getting away.

“We love Wyoming. It’s always been such an amazing place. I love LA, so I envision summers. I envision some weekends. But yeah, we love it.”

Why hunk Craig is dumping iron

GONE are the days when Craig David would spend hours in the gym, as he has admitted his desire for the perfect body was “nonsense”.

In 2013 he paraded his impressive bodybuilder physique for all to see, but he is now noticeably slimmer and says it is because he wants to be able to enjoy a normal life.

In an exclusive interview, Craig said: “It’s different now. I’ve learned that it’s about being healthy and you can restrict yourself a little bit too much if you are going for a certain look.

“That’s the part that I see as nonsense, that I don’t buy into any more.

“Once I eased up on the reins a little bit, life was chill. It’s like, come on, enjoy life. It’s good.”

But the I Know You singer, whose 2020 Hold That Thought tour opens for ticket sales today, insists he has no regrets.

He continued: “I think it was important to have experienced doing the extreme. I was proud of all the results but it’s for someone whose profession is that.

“If you’re into the fitness game and that’s you’re thing, cool.

“But I’m a musician and I just like to make music and I also like to stay fit.

“That’s about as far as it needs to be. It makes life a lot easier.”

Shawn said in an Instagram video: “We saw on Twitter you guys saying stuff about the way we’re kissing and how it looks weird, like we kiss like fish. We just want to show you how we really kiss.”
