The 10th annual pre-Labor Day Southern Soul and Blues Festival on Sunday, Sept. 1 at the Festival Plaza was interrupted and then later canceled due to a power outage due to a train derailment in the 100 block of Lake Street.

Everyone who purchased tickets online have been refunded. Refunds were issued to those who were present at the concert upon exiting. Paid ticket holders who still need a refund may call or text (832) 969-2031 for a refund. Complimentary ticket holders will not receive a refund.
