Dec 20, 2019 — Adirondack harper Martha Gallagher has been sharing her distinctive and richly varied music with audiences for over 40 years. Her background includes classical, rock, jazz and blues. As a harpist, Martha’s solo tours have taken her around the country and the world.

But, in her latest musical chapter, she’s transitioned to playing a small, portable harp that has allowed her to explore new ideas. Gallagher recently created a new on-line series, Just A Moment Music, that could be called a daily dose of momentary, meditative harp improvisations.

She told Todd Moe that it’s a step back from live performances to music that is closer to the mind and soul.
