‘Full of life’: Family of Nathaniel Goodeye speak out about their cousin’s homicide – Calgary Herald

That could have been the moment his life was taken, she said, but it’s hard to find any sort of closure, with silence from the police. She said his mom has been phoning authorities regularly but hasn’t received any new information.

Investigators took three people inside the northeast home into custody after recovering the body. They have since been released without charges.

The investigation remains ongoing.

“I was the closest to him,” said Goodeye. “I just want to remember how he was — always laughing, joking around and had a great sense of humour about everything. Always positive.”

The family is hosting a funeral service for Nathaniel on Monday.
