The Barb City Stompers Jazz Band will perform a free traditional New Orleans-style jazz concert from 6:30 to 8:45 p.m. Friday at the Sycamore Veterans Club. The public is invited. Pulled-pork sandwiches, coleslaw, chips, drinks and a cookie will be served by club volunteers and will be available for sale from about 6 to 8 p.m. The Sycamore Vets club is located at 121 S. California St. in Sycamore. Dancing space is provided.
