The Allen County Museum will once again be presenting a night of live entertainment and authentic Blues melodies as we host musical artist Gerry Hundt and his Legendary One-Man-Band on Wednesday, Feb. 26 at 7:00 p.m. Hundt is a Chicago blues artist and multi-instrumentalist. His talent enables him to be the bandleader while also performing in quartets, trios, duos, and solo. Guests will see him perform in action on his guitar, harmonica, bass drum, and snare rig. As a one-man-band, Gerry Hundt can “tear it up” while managing stringed instruments, rack attachments, and foot devices as he bursts into a musical set. With such energy and excitement, guests don’t want to miss his performance.

Brought to Lima as an artist-in-residence, Hundt is participating in the Blues in the School’s annual program at the Liberty Arts Magnet School beginning on Monday, February 24 and continuing through Friday, February 28, 2020. The residency will culminate in a live performance by the children at the school on Friday.

This year marks the sixteenth year the Allen County Museum has been able to host an artist free of charge through the program which is supported by the Blues Committee of Lima. The committee brings distinguished artists to the region to further expose local school students and the general public to the soulful genre of Blues music. This year, help the museum welcome Gerry Hundt’s Legendary One Man Band.
